Our second cohort focused on mind-body wellness and self-image through a series of workshops. We wrapped it up with Nurture Your Wellness, the culminating event where participants reflected on their growth and shared the wellness strategies they learned throughout the program.
In Cohort 2, Mind-Body Wellness and Self-Image, our participants embarked on a journey to explore the connection between mind, body, and self-image. The program was designed to help young girls embrace their unique beauty, develop healthy habits, and build confidence through self-care and wellness education.
Throughout the cohort, our girls engaged in workshops and activities that encouraged reflection on body positivity, mental well-being, and sustainable self-care practices. They discovered strategies to manage stress, set personal wellness goals, and cultivate a positive self-image.
The cumulative event, Nurture Your Wellness For Impact, gave participants the opportunity to showcase all they had learned. During this event, they shared their insights, led discussions on wellness topics, and demonstrated the skills and confidence they developed throughout the program, highlighting their growth and celebrating their commitment to self-care and personal development.
Sharing What We’ve Learned
During the Nurture Your Wellness For Impact event, we invited our participants to reflect on their personal wellness journeys by writing down their favorite wellness tips. From self-care practices to strategies for managing stress and boosting confidence, these tips highlighted the knowledge, growth, and insights they gained throughout the cohort.





Wellness Learning and Advocating with HAGO
As part of the Nurture Your Wellness For Impact event, HAGO (Help A Girl Out) led an activity on menstrual equity, sparking conversations about access to menstrual products and resources. This portion of the event blended wellness with advocacy, encouraging participants to reflect on how caring for their well-being connects to creating equitable change in their communities.
Video clips from the Nurture Your Wellness For Impact event capture participants’ reflections and speakers’ insights, highlighting the personal growth, self-care strategies, and wellness practices explored throughout the day. These moments showcase how the cohort connected, learned, and applied what they’ve discovered about well-being, resilience, and community support.
