Our first cohort focused on building public speaking skills through a series of workshops. We wrapped it up with Speak for Impact, the culminating event where participants showcased their growth.
In Cohort 1, our participants embarked on a self-discovery journey to explore their potential and abilities. The program was designed to build confidence through public speaking, help break through fear, set effective goals, and pursue dreams. Along the way, participants found a community of sisterhood, gained support from mentors, and learned from skilled professionals through workshops such as Speech Structure, focusing on organizing and delivering impactful speeches.
Our cohort developed the skills to truly captivate a room, learning how to connect with listeners and deliver messages that leave a lasting impact.
Participants learned the use of body language, learning to carry themselves with presence and assurance, transforming the way they communicate without words.
A key achievement of Cohort 1 was seeing our participants build the confidence to speak up on issues that matter to them, using their voices to share perspectives and raise awareness in meaningful ways.
Our girls learned practical ways to manage their nerves and gained the confidence to approach public speaking with greater ease.
"I used to get really nervous speaking in front of people, but after this program, I feel more confident sharing my ideas."

"The workshops helped me understand how to connect with people when I’m talking. I feel more confident in group projects now."
"I learned how to speak up about things I care about and that my voice actually matters."
Our attendees got to see firsthand how this program helped our participants step into themselves and grow their confidence. This was showcased during our panel discussion, where our participants shared their experiences, discussed the importance of advocacy, and demonstrated the skills they developed throughout the program.
